PUTTING THE CITY OF NEWARK UNDER REORGANIZATION

1) Good bye special interests - bye bye!

2) Follow the letter of the law to the date - Newark will always have a balance budget

3) Affordable housing for the working class

4) 55 and older affordable housing

5) Assisted living housing

6) More senior housing in all (5) wards

7) Veteran’s housing

8) Put DPW under reorganization

9) Support the good men and women of DPW

10) Do not raise property taxes - effective immediately no more tax abatements; tax abatements will only be used for young people starting out and affordable housing

11) Put housing in Newark for young people who are getting started - tax relief

12) Put out a paving plan every year

13) Have a snow plan in May; not wait until March to start making videos on the ‘gram

14) Work with PSE&G to light up Springfield Ave and Broad St with dusk to dawn lights - hit Bergen Street too. Constituents, call and let me know about your street that needs lighting

15) Bring back customer service to City Hall

16) NO DRESS DOWN FRIDAY - City is open Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. STOP THE INCOMPETENCE. FRIDAY IS NOT A DAY TO LOUNGE AROUND. BE MORE COURTEOUS, MORE EFFICIENT, AND PROFESSIONAL.
